Deepen Your Analysis with "What-If" exploration
Now that you know The Basics, you're ready to explore the "What-Ifs." This guide will show you how to generate and interpret various possible outcomes based on your uncertainties.
1. Generating "What-If" scenarios
- To explore "what-ifs," select a cell (or cells).
- Click 'Run' in the Scenarios tab.
- As we do not have any actuals yet, a large set generates possibilities based on your uncertainties.

2. Understanding the results
- Single cell analysis:
- For one cell, you'll see a plot displaying the weighted possibilities of different scenarios.
- This plot helps you understand the most likely outcomes and their variations.
- You can also see other summaries such as the expected value, the variance, and more.

- Two-cells analysis:
- For two cells, a heatmap will be generated.
- This heatmap shows how likely different combinations of the two cells are.

- Three or more cells:
- For three or more cells, you'll be presented with a line plot layout.
- This plot includes the expected scenario along with its uncertainty; the “bands” within which we should expect almost all (95%) possible outcomes to lie within.

3. Flexible exploration
- You can switch views and explore other cells without needing to rerun the analysis.
